Duration : 1 year This course will enable you to train in well equipped photographic and design studios. You will develop creative',' technical and employability skills required for a successful career. By exploring both traditional and digital techniques you will have the opportunity to develop your own personal and professional approach allowing you to confidently progress into the many different fields that the photography industry offers. Through focused project briefs you will develop a vocational understanding as well as the creative and technical skill base to ensure that your vision is captured with skill and imagination. As you develop on the course you will work on live briefs set by our industry partners and gain valuable industry experience. This will include visits to professional photographic studios to see how the commercial world of photography works. Functional skills in English and Maths are a key part of this course. Entry Requirements: You need five GCSEs at grade C or above',' including English Language',' or a BTEC Level 2 in a relevant subject at Merit or Distinction plus Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths. You will be required to present a portfolio of photography',' design or artwork at interview. Other qualifications will be considered. Career Options: After successful completion you can progress onto a Photography BTEC Extended Diploma
