Next Steps (Entry Level 3)

This course is designed to develop and prepare you for work. The course will help you demonstrate that you have the personal skills, qualities and attitudes needed by employers. By achieving this qualification, you will develop your skills and cofidence, which may also help you progress to further learning. The main qualification is made up of a wide variety of units which fall into two broad catagories: Employability and Personal and Social Development (PSD) units which may include cultural diversiry, supporting others and developing yourself Vocational 'taster' units which may include cookery, horticulture and performing arts If you are working towards Entry Level 3 or achieved Entry Level 2 Work Skills and Employability this course may be for you. It is designed for students who need a supportive environment in which to learn. This qualification is designed for learners working at Entry Level 3 which is likely to encompass a scale of achievement from those students with milder learning difficulties and/or disabilities who are able to progress to Entry Level 3. Once you have completed, you will have the opportunity to progress either on to other college courses, work-based training or employment.
