With the drive to be ever more environmentally conscious the need to recycle is now a major part of day to day life. The ability to provide an efficient collection service is key to maintaining business growth. The City & Guilds Sustainable Waste Management Operative level 2 Waste Collection qualification is a highly flexible course designed to minimise the disruption to day to day activities, whilst maximising the benefits to the individual and the organisation. The course can be offered at a time and place to suit the needs of both the employee and their employer, with the course being tailored to fit the needs of both the learner and the business through the selection of appropriate optional units. The apprenticeship consists of three core elements; Functional Skills in Maths and English, a Technical Certificate and the City & Guilds Diploma in Sustainable Waste Management Operative (Waste Collection). The qualification would consist of the NVQ, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills in Maths and English.
