Who is this course for? People who are thinking about a career in interpreting. People who already interpret for friends and family and might want to go on to study interpreting at a higher level but feel they need to improve their English first. What will I learn on this course? Learn main techniques used in interpreting and practice strategies to improve standard of interpreting. How will I learn? You will attend one class per week for 7 weeks. You will take part in class discussions, group work and pair work. There will be lots of opportunities to practise your interpreting by doing role plays. What qualifications will I gain? None What could this course lead to? Stage 2 Community Interpreting, work as an interpreter Can I join anytime? You must join within the first week of the start of the course.
