Introduction to MS Office IT Workshop

This course is for anyone who would like to build on existing IT skills or learn new skills using the Microsoft Office 2010 Word software. The sessions are delivered by an experienced and friendly tutor in an informal learning environment. There are no exams to take on this course. If you are a member of a local club or organization with a secretarial, treasurer or minute taking role, or whether you want to learn how to produce leaflets and flyers – this course is ideal for you. You will use Microsoft Office 2010 software to produce documents, spreadsheets, flyers, presentation slides and much more! At the end of the course you should be able to: • Create a folder to store your work • Produce quality documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher • Use formatting techniques to enhance documents • Use templates to produce agendas, certificates, cards, newsletters or minutes
