Introduction to Mediterranean Cookery - Spanish & Italian

The main aim of these workshop sessions is to guide you through the wonderfully diverse foods of the Mediterranean. On this Mediterranean cookery course we take a trip through Italy and Spain to explore the many different tastes Italian food offers great fresh flavours and loads of variety using traditional ingredients such as tomatoes, pancetta and pesto. Spanish food combines fresh flavours with Mediterranean flair and is a great choice for either luxurious food or the healthy conscious using ingredients such as chorizo sausage, garlic and peppers. This is a 3 week course, perfect for beginners and will introduce you to: Traditional Ingredients Traditional Italian & Spanish Cooking Techniques Cooking Principles and Preparing Quick, balanced recipes You will develop the fundamentals of each type of cuisine in these sessions which can be used to make an easy, impressive meal! There will hints and tips through the session on how to work with spices and marinate food. Anyone interested in making their own Mediterranean food.
