This course aims to provide practical skills that may be transferred to a business environment. Units studied include: Year 1: the business environment, business resources, marketing, business communication, business accounting, managing a business event, internet marketing in business and developing teams in business. Year 2: management accounting, understanding retailing, starting a small business, business and the economic environment, recruitment and selection in business, human resource management in business and aspects of contract and business law.You may progress to Higher Education or employment.All full time learners will undertake at least one additional qualification that will enhance their study skills and employability.
