Sport and Exercise Science examines sports performance from a number of different perspectives. From the basis of human performance in anatomy and exercise physiology to investigating the mind of performers in sports psychology and sports coaching. Throughout the course learners will engage in theoretical and practical study covering 18 units across two years. In addition in the first year, students will get the opportunity to gain a HSE recognised First Aid qualification and complete the Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership and the Level 3 Award in Higher Sports Leadership in the second year.Sports related courses at degree or HNC/HND level or employment.All full time learners will undertake at least one additional qualification that will enhance their study skills and employability.
