Learners study a range of units related to forensic science, including criminal psychology, forensic evidence collection and analysis, criminal investigation procedures and practices, forensic photography, forensic fire investigation, forensic science informatics and traffic accident investigation. This course is a practically based applied science qualification that shows how science can be applied to the field of forensic science investigations. It includes mandatory core subjects that give learners the opportunity to see how science works and to carry out investigations that allow learners to develop their underpinning knowledge and scientific skills in a vocational scenario.You may progress to Higher Education or employment.All full time learners will undertake at least one additional qualification that will enhance their study skills and employability.
