The Advanced Apprenticeship includes the following qualifications which will need to be completed in order to gain framework certification: Knowledge based – Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care. This provides in depth supporting knowledge for the Diploma in Health and Social care through the completion of assignments. Competence based – Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. This ensures that knowledge can be put into practice through the chosen pathway. Employment Rights and Responsibilities Level 2 Awards. This ensures apprentices feel confident with their rights and responsibilities in a working environment. Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. This component supports the learner to try different ways to tackle a problem, working with others to find imaginative solutions and outcomes that are of value. Functional Skills - Number and Communication level 2. This is integrated within the programme and is completed by producing a portfolio and sitting a test and gives the apprentice confidence in applying number and communication to their daily work. The apprentice will spend the majority of their time working with the employer gaining skills and experience, and will have responsibilities to ensure they meet the requirements of their job descriptions.
