Apprenticeship in Child Care

UPDATED 20161123 09:42:53

The Apprenticeship in Child Care is recruited externally through Doncaster Council's job site. The Apprenticeship puts learners in Children Centre's throughout the Borough to gain work experience but also gain a qualification in Child Care at Level 2. Doncaster Council's Accreditted Learning Team tries to ensure learners are placed as close to their homes as possible. Some children centres have set hours where as others work shift patterns. This is all discussed as a part of the initial assessment process. Apprentices complete the full framework of qualifications required to complete their Apprenticeship. This includes qualfications in Maths, English and ICT.
