This framework is designed to meet the skills needs of employers of all sizes across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. It will attract new talent into Sales & Telesales and will help to up skill the workforce to meet employer skills priorities. Intermediate apprentices will work in job roles such as trainee sales advisors, sales consultants or sales executives. The apprenticeship is made up of mandatory units which cover the essential skills required for working in a sales environment, such as time planning, meeting legal, regulatory and ethical requirements and delivering reliable customer service. There are then a variety of optional units to choose from which focus on the specific tasks you carry out within your role which could include: • Selling face-to-face and by telephone • Inputting data and processing sales • Sales demonstrations • Generating and qualifying Sales leads • Analysing sales and competitor information • Buyer behaviour
