Physical Education A Level

UPDATED 20161020 13:29:30

Sport is one of the fastest growing industries. Elite level sports performers now have a whole team of specialists working behind the scenes to ensure that players are in peak physical and psychological conditioning. The A Level PE course is 70% theory and therefore requires you to be self-motivated and display a keen interest in both scientific and psychological factors that can affect performers. As your knowledge increases, you will start to view sport in a very different way and you will constantly be applying the theories and topics you have learned in class to explain the fascinating world of sport. To be successful on the course you must have a real passion for sport. You will be assessed in either your coaching ability or your sport performance and will be expected to be competing at a high standard regularly.
