This programme is designed for apprentices already working at Level 2. The course is aimed to increase knowledge and skills for the candidate to work at a supervisory level, and links with the new Technical Certificate Diploma at Level 3. The NVQ component of this qualification is undertaken on site under the guidance of the apprentice’s supervisor or employer. College staff undertake the on site assessment through a schedule of regular visits to site. Students will need to generate through their work tasks, evidence of competence in order to develop their NVQ portfolio. Students attend college to study for their Diploma, whilst the NVQ component is assessed solely in the workplace.
