The course covers the understanding and application of the following: Health & Safety legislation Efficient working practices Carrying out written and verbal instructions Bench Joinery Manufacture, mark out and produce of products such as doors, staircases, cupboards etc. Moving and handling resources Set up and use circular saw Site Carpentry Fitting door and window frames Door linings Floor joist covering Partitions and plasterboard Door and window ironmongery Use of hand and machine tools The course contains a high level of practical work and it is important that strict safety rules and regulations are observed at all times.
