Name: Advanced Apprenticeship in Hairdressing Qualification title: NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment You will be required to produce a portfolio of your own work, based on continual assessment, to show your competence in hairdressing theory and practice. Assessments will be carried out at college as well as in your work place. All trainees will have access to support workshops in the 2 Key Skills area – Application of Number and Communications - which will enable them to pass the examination at the required level to gain the full Advanced Apprenticeship Framework. For practical sessions you will be required to wear a black tunic, black full length trousers and black, covered-in, sensible shoes.
