AAT Level 4 develops many of the themes explored at Level 3 although there is a greater emphasis on analysis and evaluation. Learners will discover the legal and regulatory framework surrounding the financial statements of limited companies while two costing modules place a heavy emphasis on planning, decision-making and control. Candidates will also have the opportunity to study two option units which in recent years have been Business and Personal Tax.
