This is a vocationally related qualification at level 2 and has been developed in consultation with local and national industry, colleges and other training providers to meet the needs of industry. The qualification will give a nationally recognised qualification containing relevant theory and the practical skills needed by the fabrication and welding industry. The course provides a recognised vocationally related qualification for learners interested in apprenticeships within the industry.
