Sewing Skills City & Guilds L1 & 2

This course is for anyone aged 19+ who would like to learn a variety of sewing skills within a structure programme of learning. You will select from fashion level 1 or 2 or interior textiles level 2 design and sewing skills. You may be entitled to a free course depending on your circumstances. Name: Sewing Skills City & Guilds L1 & 2 Qualification title: Certificate in Creative Techniques - Interiors (QCF) Qualification type: Other regulated/accredited qualification Assessment This is an accredited course covering 4 units of work. Completion of all units is required to complete the Certificate. You will be expected to develop a portfolio of evidence. There will be a design unit included in the course involving art materials, although you do not need to be able to draw. Entry requirements

A notebook and pen are required on attendance of the course. A sewing kit (tape measure; soft and retractable, pins, needles, threads, scissors (large and small if possible) - some items are available in class) This is not required for the first session.
