A practical workshop, involving the assessment of Tungsten Inert Gas Welding (TIG), Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG) and Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA) activities, including knowledge assessment. Emphasis should be on the safe working practices applied to each particular welding process and environment. The course allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the engineering sector.
