The Level 1 Extended Diploma in Construction Skills offers an introduction and an understanding of the construction industry. The course is suitable for anyone who is thinking about a career in construction and would like to try their hand at a number of different trades. It is a practical course that will equip students with the basic skills in bricklaying, joinery, painting and decorating and plumbing. Learners will have the opportunity to gain eight weeks of experience within each area during the year-long course in our state-of-the-art Construction Skills Centre.
