Level 2 Diploma in Brickwork

The Level 2 Diploma in Brickwork is a one year, full time course that will help students develop practical skills and knowledge learned at Level 1. The course comprises of theory work and practical sessions in the brickwork workshop in the College's state-of-the-art Construction Skill Centre. The units covered will include: Principles of building construction, information and communication, Health, safety and welfare in construction, Building solid walling, isolated and attached piers, Interpreting working drawings to set out masonry structures, Construct cavity walling forming masonry structures. This is an ideal course for those who work well in a team, enjoy working with their hands and is looking to take their first steps in a career in Bricklaying.
