The part time, 18 month HNC in Computing and Systems Development provides students with the skills and knowledge required to develop a successful career in the IT industry. The HNC is an advanced course that is suitable for those who would like to progress from a Level 3 qualification in Computing or those already working in the industry and would like to build their understanding of the key concepts in computing. Modules, include programming, networking, database, website, digital image creation & multimedia, all which provide the relevant, practical experience that are valued by employers. This qualification is an ideal way to prepare learners for both university study and the world of work. There will be three mandatory core units studies as part of the course, including: Business Skills for e-Commerce, Computer Systems & Employability and Professional Development. In addition students will study five relevant optional units.
