The level 5 Higher Apprenticeship framework is for those working as Adults' Residential Managers, Adults' Managers and Adults' Advanced Practitioners in Adult Social Care or as a Manager of Specialist Adult Social Care Services or Business Development Manager in adult social care only. This framework does not currently include pathways for people working in the Health Service or Children and Young People's Services. Higher Apprentices must achieve one of the combined competence and knowledge qualifications listed and gain a minimum of 90 credits with 68 credits from competency units.
