Explore and develop your creative skills across a range of traditional and digital photographic techniques. Through the exploration and development of processes and media successful students will be able to progress to degree level programmes or into employment. The course will include the understanding and use of 35mm and digital SLR cameras along with medium format and 5 x 4 cameras. You will also learn how to make films and edit moving images using a range of software. Students gain an understanding of darkroom techniques and photo/media software along with studio lighting, which is all aimed at creative portfolio development. You will also experience how moving image works that will give you further transferrable skills in a fast changing industry.
