You will be employed in industry, earning a wage whilst gaining the skills and qualifications employers need and value. You must have an employer who will support you through your Apprenticeship and give you time off work to attend college. Many people find their own job or are already employed but if not, college staff can help you find employment. The qualification forms the competence element of the skills for logistics warehousing and storage Apprenticeship framework. It was developed for the industry in association with Skills for Logistics, Sector Skills Council. The Apprenticeship will include logistics operations and skills including stock control, health safety and security, process operations and use of fork lift, hoists and other relevant industrial apparatus.
