This course is your opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding of business in a lively, realistic and practical world. The one year programme includes English, maths and work experience, all of which supports your progression to employment or, if you already have AS level qualifications, Foundation Degree Business and Management. You will study six units worth a maximum of 140 credits, including: The business environment, Business resources, Introduction to marketing, Business communication, two optional units. There will be a one week period of work experience that will give you an insight into a real working environment and let you gather information for your assignments.
