The aim of this programme is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of Management and Leadership. This programme is designed for those people who: Are entering a management role or wish to gain a qualification that formally recognises their skills. Manage a team and are responsible for its performance. Are middle managers and who have a wider managerial role, which could include recruitment and budgetary responsibilities. This qualification can be taken as an Apprenticeship or NVQ only. An Apprenticeship will cover additional elements such as functional skills and a technical certificate in Management.

During your Training Advisor's visits to your workplace you will be observed carrying out your day to day tasks. Your duties and responsibilities will also be discussed and you will be given full guidance and support to enable you to complete the qualification. Visits also provide an opportunity to feedback details of your progress to your employer. Your portfolio will be reviewed and assessed on an ongoing basis.
