The Level 2 qualification in Retail Operations is in-line with industry needs and presents an opportunity for individuals to progress to becoming Team Leaders or Supervisors. This NVQ is designed for those who are involved in stock storage and order processing, preparing products for sale, merchandising and selling goods, customer service, goods movement, hygiene or a combination of these areas. Within your job role you need to be able to show that you can carry out a range of work activities in a variety of contexts. Some of these activities will need to be complex or non-routine tasks that may be carried out when you work as part of a team. In addition you need to show that you can take responsibility for your own work and work by yourself when needed. This qualification can be taken as an Apprenticeship or NVQ only. An Apprenticeship will cover additional elements such as functional skills and a technical certificate in Retail Operations.
