Who is the course for? This course is designed for anyone who has achieved an NVQ level 2 Beauty Therapy or NVQ level 2 Hairdressing qualification, or equivalent. also this is suitable for students who have 5 GCSEs including Art and a keen interest in make up and hair. What can it lead to? Employment as a Make up Artist, Hairdresser or special effects Technician in the performing arts, theatre and media sectors. What will I study? During the course you will study a range of make up and hair services in the performing arts sector, including theatrical and special effects makeup for example prosthetics. You will work with other learners on different course levels in this curriculum area. You may also study Maths and English alongside this qualification.
