Access to HE Diplomas are well established, national qualifications which allow students without traditional Level 3 qualifications to apply for degree courses and enter university. Our highly successful Access to Science course runs over one year and is ideal for students wishing to progress to university, to study on science-related and some healthcare-related degree courses. The Diploma may also be a beneficial qualification for students looking to go directly into employment, where Level 3 qualifications are required. You need to be highly motivated and have a genuine aptitude and passion for science. Depending on your chosen progression route, some universities may expect you to have gained experience working in a relevant setting and are also likely to require a DBS check. We strongly advise you to have any required experience in place by the time you begin your Access to Science course.
