What will I do on this study programme? This study programme combines both academic study and the development of practical skills and knowledge. You will study a number of different units. The core units are Government, policies and the public services, citizenship, diversity and the public services, leadership and teamwork in the public services, understanding discipline within the uniformed public services and fitness testing and training for the uniformed public services. This qualification will form part of a study programme, which includes exclusive access to the Sports and Public Services Academy and Enrichment programme, tutorial support, employability and study skills. How will I be assessed? This qualification is assessed by exams and coursework, which includes projects, assignments, presentations and practical activities. What options do I have after successfully completing? Progress to An undergraduate study programme such as the Foundation Degree in Uniformed Services or Sport (Coaching), which are offered by Weston College. Job/career opportunities A career in the armed, public or emergency services.
