What will I do on this study programme? This study programme provides learners with existing qualifications or relevant media experience with the opportunity to undertake an intensive one year media foundation course that will in addition develop your personal and teamwork skills. It will also encourage analytical, creative, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. The study programme includes making and editing your own films, pre-production work and research, script writing, advertising and print based journalism. As well as considering audience and creative media products. How will I be assessed? We will assess a range of assignments, investigations and practical assessments during the study programme. What options do I have after successfully completing? Progress to Media Production, Extended Diploma, Level 3. Job/career opportunities Video production, broadcasting, editing, camera work, animation, script writing and post production Work in the industry.
