What will I do on this study programme? This study programme includes a Diploma in Engineering at Level 2, this is a practical course during which you will be working in the new engineering workshops to develop a number of engineering skills the focus will be manufacturing with opportunities to study hydraulic and pneumatic systems and Computer Aided Design. All students will continue with their studies in maths and English to ensure everyone is able to ultimately progress onto an apprenticeship or the Level 3 engineering programme. If you do not have a grade C in maths and/or English you will attend a GCSE or Functional Skills class as part of your weekly timetable. How will I be assessed? We will assess your knowledge and your skills in a number of ways, including practical synoptic tests, assignments, a portfolio of work and online multiple choice tests. What options do I have after successfully completing? Progress to Engineering, Extended Diploma, Level 3 Engineering, Advanced Apprenticeship, Level 3.
