What will I do on this study programme? You will cover areas such as building methods and construction technology, carrying out safe working practices, basic bricklaying walling and cavity walling plus setting out and building basic masonry structure up to damp course level. How will I be assessed? We will assess what you know about the job and your skills in a number of ways, including practical synoptic tests, assignments a portfolio of work and online multiple choice tests. What options do I have after successfully completing? Progress to Bricklaying, Diploma, Level 2 Trowel Occupations, Intermediate Apprenticeship, Level 2. Job/career opportunities Employment in the construction industry as a bricklayer/labourer.
