What do I need to get onto this apprenticeship? You will need to be in relevant employment, but we can support you to find this. You will also need a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade D or above or a Level 1 qualification. What will I do on this apprenticeship? You will need to do a number of qualifications including the Level 2 NVQ in Customer Service and a Technical Certificate and Functional Skills. You will cover a number of units which could include improving productivity using IT, developing personal and team effectiveness using IT, bespoke software and using the internet. How will I be assessed? We will assess your practical skills and observe you at work. You will do assignments and projects as well as case studies and questions. Your personal assessor will visit you at your workplace to review your progress and make sure you are on target to achieve your qualifications. What options do I have after successfully completing? Progress to , IT Higher Apprenticeships or further learning in other business area, such as finance, business or sales , Applied Computing Foundation Degree followed by an Honours top-up year - both delivered at Weston College. Job/career opportunities The demand for ICT has never been greater, so developing your skills in this area is one of the best career moves you could make. The skills you learn on your Apprenticeship will be valuable wherever there are computers and communications technology, which is just about everywhere.
