This course covers key components of your bicycle and how to maintain them in good working order - Safety inspection, Adjustment and replacing of brakes, cables and pads; adjustment and fitting of new cables and fine tuning of front and rear gear mechanisms; servicing and adjustment of headset; adjustment and maintenance of hubs; assessing wheel faults, truing of slightly buckled wheels while in the frame plus recommendation for routine servicing. NB: Hydraulic brake servicing is not covered in this course.
