The aims of the course are - · To extend the learners' knowledge of sewing techniques and to develop their skills in cutting out and making up bought dressmaking patterns. · To encourage safe and efficient working practices. Students will learn how to make a blouse or shirt using a bought dressmaking pattern. The garment must have a fitted collar and buttons on the front.
