If you're passionate about helping people and want to work in the airline industry, this Level 2 Aviation Package Diploma is a fantastic two-year course that will help you explore a variety of roles in the sector, learn the relevant skills for each, and decide where you'd like to work in the future. You'll get a complete introduction to airline and aviation operations, learning all about health, safety & security, emergency procedures in the industry and the specialist communications used in this sector. You'll explore all the duties of air cabin crew and the services they must provide, as well as focusing on check in services, handling baggage, and how to deal with special status passengers. As you learn more about the ground crew at an airport, you'll look at loading and dispatch methods for an aircraft, as well as boarding, arrivals and marshalling procedures. You'll get to work with real aircraft crew, and use a fully equipped aircraft cabin, galley and check in area right here at The Manchester College. We are also proud to be an official member of the Institute of Travel and Tourism
