Taking your cutting and styling skills to the next stage, this Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing Studies will develop your technical knowledge further and help you advance your abilities in the industry. It's based on national standards, and recognised by a number of leading professional associations, so you can be sure you're learning all the relevant techniques for a successful career! You'll take a more in-depth look at the industry with this diploma, and as well as developing your cutting and styling techniques to deliver a variety of looks, you'll also focus on more managerial skills in the salon environment, including how to promote services, how to monitor health and safety practices, and how to provide effective consultation support for your colleagues. As part of a number of optional units you can choose to take, you'll be able to develop your skills working with hair extensions, perms, and styles specifically for brides-to-be! You'll also be able to look at how to design a salon and research topics that will help you succeed in building your own business!
