Writing for Children

This course is for anyone considering writing for children. There will be creative opportunities to try out writing for different age groups, as well as guidance on the basic expectations for writing for children - for example, how to lay out a picture book, or what word count is appropriate for age 9-12 years. All forms of writing for children will be explored - picture books through to teenage fiction.
