We will have a look at different types of Green man, Green animals, wood spirits etc. Students can then choose a design from several templates (or make/bring their own design) and carve that out of stone. We will use a relatively soft lime stone for this course. The aim of the course is to carve a simple 'Green man' out of stone over the course of two, 6 hour, days.
