The aim of the course is to support students to improve a wide range of skills to support them to progress to higher level courses and/or employment. The focus of the course is to develop skills such as Personal and Social development and Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT whilst also giving students the opportunity to access Vocational Taster sessions in subjects such as Motor Vehicle, Art and Design, Performing Arts, Media, Gardening, Conservation, Football, Languages, Care, Hairdressing and Catering.
