OCR Cambridge Technical Business and Marketing - Level 3 The National Extended Diploma in Business is an ideal step towards a career in various business related roles. It is a wide-ranging vocational programme which is based around practical work, and considers many of the important areas of modern business. It has been designed to provide a route into business careers and a progression path to University. The award is equivalent to three academic ‘A’ Levels. The course is split up into four core modules, and a wide range of marketing optional units, including: - Creative Product Promotion- Market Research in Business- Introduction to Marketing- Internet Marketing in Business.
Name: BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business and Marketing Qualification title: BTEC Extended Diploma in Business (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment Portfolio Based Assessment. Every unit will have its own assessed piece of coursework. All units will be structured into 12-week blocks. Where an assignment has not been completed within a given week a replacement assignment will be issued, this will be structured only to the pass level criteria. Progress from one 12-week block to the next is dependent on satisfactory progress to date in terms of key parameters including: - Assignment completion- Attendance- Motivation/effort- Meeting deadlines Once submitted the assessments will be marked, internally verified and returned to the student within a two-week period.
