This course is ideal for candidates who want to work as plumbers or other related disciplines in the building services engineering sector. This qualification does not make candidates fully qualified plumbers, but it does form the first part of the qualification process before completing the performance elements in a work placement or as part of an apprenticeship. The Level 2 qualification is designed for new entrants to the plumbing industry, providing them with the basic skills and experience they need to progress to further study and eventually employment. The course consists of ten units which cover a variety of topics including: Cold water systems Common plumbing processes Drainage systems Electrical principles and processes The Diploma will be assessed through practical assignments and online multiple choice tests.
