The OCR Life and Living Skills course covers a wide range of skill areas; including pre-employability, personal and social skills. There are no entry requirements. The course promotes varied personalised learning programme with a completely flexible structure. Our main focus is on Independent Living Skills which involves learning how to prepare drinks/snacks, how to cook a meal, how to clean up afterwards and general skills that will be needed for independent living. Our second main focus is learning in the community. This tends to include visiting local facilities, learning how to use public transport, do the shopping as well as other skills that are needed to access the local community.
