The Pre-Vocational Programme is a one year course with possible progression to a second and third year aimed at school leavers with moderate learning difficulties or additional needs. The course aims to enable students to achieve their maximum potential and prepare them for the next step in their career progression.

For the Life Skills and Skills for Working Life awards students build a portfolio of evidence which proves their competence and understanding of a range of topics. This is assessed by the subject teacher. Literacy and Numeracy qualifications are assessed formally under examination conditions.
