The Information Security Apprenticeship is an exciting new opportunity. The rapid growth of hacking and phishing across the Internet requires well trained and tested professionals. There are many job roles including Network Security Offiers, Information Assurance Officers, Assistant Secure System Developers and Junior ProMon/Network (Security) Engineers which now require a working knowledge of the influence of preventative practices to safeguard businesses from cyber attacks. You will come to College one day a week where you will explore an insight into the world of cyber crime and understand the logistics of protecting company information and systems. You will build relevant skills that are required in the business world and will gain an industry recognised qualification. The remainder of the week you will be working alongside the experts in the industry as part of the workforce. Cyber Security is an exciting and emerging area of focus and employment.Our experienced and specialist lecturers make sure that learning is fun while focussing on what is important for you.

Name: Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Information Security Qualification title: Non regulated provision, Level 1, Administration Qualification type: Assessment You will be continually assessed throughout your training, we use a range of assessment methods, including video, audio, witness or observation statements, simulation and competitions. You may be required to take some external tests/examinations for functional skills in IT (if required). Your progress will be reviewed regularly and achievable targets set to ensure you complete your course on time.
