Introductory Certificate to the Travel and Tourism Industry

This course will help to develop learners' confidence and give them a sound understanding of the travel and tourism sector and the work skills needed to succeed in this fast-changing environment. You will undertake a number of visits, including to travel and tourism businesses and other establishments that will be of benefit to you in your career planning. You will also undertake work experience and lots of practical activities. In addition, you will develop your maths and English skills, which will support your main programme of study and help your future progression.

Entry requirements

All learners are required to wear the standard uniform which you will be able to order during enrolment. The cost of the uniform is approximately £135.00 which includes a jacket, skirt for ladies and trousers for men, a shirt and either a tie or scarf. You may be able to secure financial support towards the cost of the uniform. There will also be a nominal charge for trips and visits.
