The Sports Coaching and Development course is designed to build your skills and knowledge base. It is suitable for learners who have a higher level interest in sports coaching or sports development. You will study in both practical and theoretical settings to understand advanced concepts in various areas of sport. This flexible programme can be studied over one, two or three years and allows learners to progress into employment or higher education.

Your workload will be challenging so excellent organisation and time management skills are essential. The qualification submission policy will be explained to you and must be adhered to. You will need to purchase a kit. The cost of this will be finalised at the start of the course but is expected to be in the region of £140. This will include yearly gym membership and the end-of-year celebration event. This money is to be received before November. There may be additional costs incurred for selected trips or visits.
